Curated events and policy advocacy

Priority and exclusive invitations to events hosted or supported by AACM. This includes engagement at international and regional convenings (e.g. Ecosperity, London Climate Action Week, COP, etc), closed-door policy dialogues, executive roundtables, and networking receptions.

Thematic Working Groups (TWGs)

Opportunity to champion causes and resources that are important for the development of carbon markets in ASEAN. There are three TWGs to choose from: Supply, Demand and Financing. Each TWG will focus on specific priorities and deliverables each year, with facilitation from the AACM Secretariat.

Capacity building and knowledge resources

Priority access to knowledge sharing platforms and resources created or supported by AACM. This includes webinars, expert briefings, and market intelligence dedicated to carbon market developments across ASEAN.

Visibility and credibility

AACM coordinates with ASEAN Bodies and Chambers of Commerce, given its status as a legacy project under the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC). We strive to champion the agenda and priorities of the ASEAN carbon market ecosystem, regardless of ASEAN Chairships. This helps ensure consistency and momentum in our collective voice.

Regional and global network

Leverage AACM’s presence and convenings to expand your reach. Members have the opportunity to request dissemination of information via the AACM newsletter and to request targeted introductions at events/initiatives led by AACM.

FAQs

Who can join AACM?: AACM welcomes corporates, institutions, and organisations active in and/or interested in the ASEAN carbon market ecosystem. This includes but is not limited to project developers, financiers, buyers, service providers, validation & verification bodies, exchanges, and other enabling institutions.
Is membership approval required?: Yes, all applications to become AACM members are subject to review by AACM’s Secretariat and Steering Committee.
How are Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) run?: Each TWG is co-chaired by at least two AACM Premium Members, which is to be approved by AACM Steering Committee. Each co-chair is eligible to serve for a maximum of two years. Each TWG will meet at least once every two months. TWG activities will be coordinated and facilitated by the AACM Secretariat.
Do you offer prorated membership fees?: No, AACM only offers annual rates for memberships. Your membership is valid for one year from the day the invoice is settled.
